## Modifications & Cancellations

### A straightforward modification and cancellation process is critical for your attendees to have the best booking experience possible.

We send room reservation confirmations with detailed instructions and links to help attendees make any needed changes to their reservation or to cancel completely. When changes are made, a new acknowledgement is sent.  Orchid has the flexibility to manage and process multiple cancellation structures and fees - we work with you to decide how cancellation policies should be designed and enforced.  

 

 

## Waitlists

### ***Our waitlist procedures keep attendees booking in the block by offering extended dates, tracking additional nights to increase earned comps, and using data in post-event analysis to make accurate recommendations for future room blocks.***

The Waitlist Tool ensures attendees are able to reserve rooms on all nights requested at the hotel they want.  Your Account Management team will then work with the hotel to add shoulder nights or peak night rooms as they are available, maximizing pickup for each participating hotel.

***This tool helps:***

- eliminate attendee frustration
- increase room block usage
- prevent booking outside the room block
